The Tassel Flower Motif is one of Hiroko Hayashi's signature designs, developed over more than 25 years. Inspired by the beauty of Persian decorative arts and Buddhist art introduced to Japan via the Silk Road, she created this original pattern by combining those influences with the quiet elegance and sense of harmony she cultivated through the Japanese tea ceremony from an early age.
