「KOGURE Glass Works」は、越中富山の小さな工房です。

小暮紀一は、古代より受け継がれてきた希少なコアガラス技法を用い、酒器や器などを制作しています。世界でも数少ない作り手の一人として、古代ガラスの魅力を現代へ伝えています。

林裕子は、バーナーワークによるとんぼ玉やアクセサリーを制作しています。シルクロードを経て日本へ伝わった伝統文様や、日本の四季、茶の湯で培われた美意識を題材に、一粒のガラスの中へ物語を閉じ込めています。

大量生産ではなく、一点一点を手仕事で仕上げることを大切にし、身につけるたびに長く愛される作品を目指しています。

ガラスという素材を通して、日本の文化や自然の美しさを未来へつないでいくことが、私たちの願いです。

Welcome to KOGURE Glass Works

KOGURE Glass Works is a small glass studio in Toyama, Japan, founded by husband-and-wife glass artists Kiichi Kogure and Hiroko Hayashi.

Kiichi Kogure creates vessels using the ancient core-forming technique, one of the oldest methods of glassmaking. As one of the few contemporary artists practicing this rare craft, he continues a tradition that dates back more than 2,000 years.

Hiroko Hayashi creates lampworked glass beads and jewelry inspired by Japanese aesthetics. Her work draws from traditional motifs that traveled to Japan along the Silk Road, the changing beauty of the seasons, and the quiet spirit of the Japanese tea ceremony. Each bead tells a story through layers of glass.

Every piece is individually handcrafted in their studio. Rather than producing identical objects, they create one-of-a-kind works meant to be treasured for generations.

Through glass, they hope to share the beauty of Japanese culture, history, and nature with people around the world.
